History

In 1974, D'Arcy Morrow founded Morrow Engineering Ltd. to provide industrial clients with the highest standard of engineering design and project management services.

Today, Morrow Engineering Ltd.'s customers benefit from more than 45 years of engineering experience on a wide range of industrial projects.

Mark Vaandering

Mark Vaandering is a senior project engineer and president of Morrow Engineering Ltd. He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mechanical) for the University of British Columbia and is licensed in British Columbia and Alberta.

Mr. Vaandering joined Morrow Engineering in 1993 and became a principal in 1997.  Since that time, Mark has been extensively involved with engineering analysis and design, preparation of specifications and plans and oversight of design staff.  He regularly mentors to junior staff and provides technical and professional support to team members.

With over 30 years of experience in design and project engineering in industrial and institutional settings he specializes in petroleum storage and transfer systems.

Early in his career, Mark was as a project engineer at a coal tar refinery in Hamilton, Ontario, where he was responsible for numerous capital and maintenance projects.  In this capacity he learned to work closely with plant personnel to ensure projects were fit for purpose, met all requirements and were delivered without interruption to operations.
